about forthcoming gura/junk science video collabo:
this being dilla month and all, it’s no secret that the cover of j dilla’s legendary donuts CD was plucked from the music video i directed for MED’s ‘push,’ lensed by the talented robert morris, who has also shot for ludacris and dr. dre.
i happened upon a nice posting at the cover up about how the donuts album cover came to be.
also jrocc, who cool calm pete and i agree is the single best hip hop DJ in the universe, is posting some nice dilla-related rarities.
rest in peace, rest in power to someone who touched hearts and opened minds and got heads nodding, feet tapping and fists pounding.
